Just Your Typical 1-3-1 Out At First

Cleveland Indians Casey Kotchman backward flips to first

Did I say typical?  Oops.

This great play involving Cleveland Indians pitcher Esmil Rogers and first basemen Casey Kotchman started with a deflected ball off of Rogers leg that went into foul territory.  Kotchman, who didn’t give up on the play, chased the ball down and flipped it backwards for the out at first.
